We have a statutory mandate to conduct a program of research to promote community awareness and understanding of productivity and regulatory issues.

Our research program produces reports that provide evidence on topical policy issues and outline future directions for reform. The PC has six work streams:

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Stream
• Climate Change and Energy
• Environment and Water
• Health and Ageing
• Industry and Trade
• Productivity.

The organisational chart identifies the lead for each stream. Note that not all research comes from a stream.
