Indigenous Expenditure Report

The Indigenous Expenditure Report provides estimates of Australian, State and Territory government expenditure for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. When combined with other information, the estimates contribute to a better understanding of the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of government expenditure on services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.

The most recent edition of the Indigenous Expenditure Report was released on Thursday 26 October 2017.

Previous editions were published in 2010, 2012 and 2014.

The report was commissioned by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) in December 2007. Four editions have been produced.
